Project 2A - Double Exposure

1. Finding online images that I love 

2. Putting them all together in the Photoshop

3. Select and Mask all the images to clear the background

4. Create a "solid colour" background and drop it under the portrait layer 

5. Add the coloured smoke image and reposition it

6. Unmask the portrait face with the black colour foreground brush tool 

7. Add roses, birds, fish and butterflies and use the banding mode to remove the background

1. Selecting and masking the sheep image
2. Crop the head and legs 

3. Replace the sheep body with a cloud

4. Use the smudge tool to mix and bland the sheep head and legs with the cloud

5. Try different types of backgrounds and clouds

6. Use multiply blending modes to add shadows under the sheep to make it look like a sheep floating in the sky

REFLECTION

Project 2 is regarding double exposure and photo manipulation. First of all, I was able to physically experience the camera and learnt the basic skills of using it. It is a very worthy and exhilarating experience. By using different perspectives and angles, bind and blend the images and form an extraordinary outcome. To create a sight that people can just understand the message by just looking at the image.
